Legal Case (Motor Vehicle – Bicycle Collision)

An unfortunate collision has occurred between a motor vehicle and a bicycle on a municipal intersection in Ontario, where the cyclist has incurred serious injuries. (The location and case particulars have been omitted due to the ongoing confidential nature of the case.)

The actions of the motor vehicle operator, the geometric design and signal operation of the intersection as well as the actions of the cyclist have been closely examined. LMM was retained as traffic operations expert specialists to review the design and operation of the intersection in an effort to aid the court in the determination of liability.

As a legal case, extensive documentation and expert reports by others were examined to form fair professional opinion.
