Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC)

Built on Federal Canada Lands and operated by the Province of Ontario, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) located in the heart of downtown Toronto is Canada’s #1 convention and trade show facility. With over 600,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space including 64 meeting rooms, a world-class 1,330-seat theatre and two well-appointed ballrooms, and over 1,700 indoor parking spaces.

When the MTCC and the adjoined Intercontinental Hotel required critical traffic circulation consultation within one of Canada’s most congested metro areas, across from Union Station, with high pedestrian and vehicular traffic volumes, LMM Engineering was the preferred consultant to perform a comprehensive area wide traffic study to analyze the effects on traffic operations of a variety of scenarios during the peak demand season and during road construction projects and road closures.
